A recipe for pumpkin French toast will surely be a hit. You can make your pumpkin French toast on the sweeter side by using a sweet type of bread or by adding things like the raisins which are called for in this recipe.

    Directions

    1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

    2. In a mixing bowl whisk together the two kinds of milk, pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin spice until well combined. Stir in Eatnuts.com Raisins and Eatnuts.com Pecans or Eatnuts.com Pumpkin Seeds.

    3. Pour into a bowl or a shallow dish and start to dip bread into the egg mixture. At the same time while allowing the mixture to absorb put butter or coconut oil in the pan and begin to melt. Make sure when taking bread out of the mixture that you get some of the Eatnuts.com Raisins, Eatnuts.com Pecans, and Eatnuts.com Pumpkin Seeds along with your piece of toast.

    4. Place dipped bread into the pan and cook for 2-4 minutes, then turn it over. Continue to cook until it is golden brown on both sides.

    5. When ready to serve place maple syrup on the side. The French toast is already slightly sweet and may not require the syrup.

Each bite has the perfect amount of sweetness and pumpkin flavor. Although you could add a kiss of maple syrup the natural sweetness from the flavoring is very satisfying all by itself. An occasional burst of raisins, pecan, and seeds also gives this French toast a variety of texture and flavors in each bite.
