  • Savory spiced nuts are good, but these Savory Spiced Nuts are slightly sweet as well. They are sweet salty spicy nuts which satisfy all the different parts of the pallet. We work specifically with cashews and pecans as the combination for this recipe. These savory spiced nuts with a hint of maple syrup are so good they will give any other sweet salty spicy nuts a run for their money.

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Prepare flax eggs in a bowl until you get a frothy consistency.

    3. Add nuts, sugar, syrup, and spices and stir to coat the Cashews and Pecans. Place evenly on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

    4. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool and serve.

The combination of creaminess from the pecans and cashews are the perfect match for this spice blend. A hint of sweetness from the maple syrup, nuts, and coconut oil infused with the savory flavoring of the spices and background kick from the chili powder makes this combo irresistible.
