Ingredients List:

  • 1 cup Eatnuts.com Almonds (soaked or unsealed)
  • ¼ cup raw hemp seeds
  • 3 cups spring water
  • 1-2 ounces agave or ¼ cup raw honey (your sweetener of preference)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • What is healthy milk? An increasing number of nut. Almond Hemp milk eliminates the need for dairy milk while providing all the nutrients in hemp seeds and the almonds, such as healthy fats and protein.

    Directions

    1. If you pre-soaked the Eatnuts.com Almonds, make sure to rinse and drain; otherwise, place all ingredients in a high-powered blender like a Vitamix machine.

    2. Start the machine on low and slowly work your way up to high, liquefy and infuse everything for 3-4 minutes.

    3. Optional Step: if you like your nut milk thinner, you can remove the almond and hemp seed fiber. Pour liquefied milk through a nut milk bag and strain it thoroughly. You may choose to hold onto almond pulp for other recipes; however, make sure to store in an air tight container or bag in the refrigerator or freezer.

    4. Pour milk into your favorite glass or use in your favorite smoothie, hot drink, oatmeal or sweet recipe and enjoy.
