Ingredients List:

  • Crust Ingredients:
  • 20 Dates
  • 1½ cups Almond Flour
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup cacao nibs
  • 4 tablespoons cacao powder

  • Filling Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups Cashews that have been soaked for at least 1 hour, then drained.
  • ½ cup water or
  • Homemade Almond Milk
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons raw agave
  • 1 cup melted coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder

  • Option Toppings:
  • Dried Blueberries
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Banana Chips
  • Healthy Chocolate Treats are the best name for this recipe since they are made from whole foods and mostly raw ingredients. Rather than using cocoa powder we use cacao powder. There are several health benefits in cacao powder, which is chocolate in its raw form.


    1. Line cupcake baking pan with paper cupcake liners.

    2. Mix the crust ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, blend the ingredients until it becomes a sticky dough.

    3. Place a 1” ball of dough in the bottom of each cupcake liner and push it down with your fingers or a spoon to create the crust.

    4. In a high powered blender or Vitamix machine mix the filling ingredients until it is completely smooth. Add more water or Homemade Almond Milk as needed until you get a pudding-like consistency.

    5. Pour the filling on top of the crust in the cupcake liners. Top each healthy chocolate treat with a pinch of cacao nibs or dried fruit like Dried Blueberries, Dried Cranberries, or Banana Chips.

    These Healthy Chocolate Treats are perfectly sweet. The texture of the creamy filling, the crunch from the cacao nibs, and the chocolate crust will send your sensations into ecstasy. They are an excellent treat for any day of celebration.
