Pecan Pie Bars (organic)

Ingredients List:

  • 3 cups organic, unbleached white flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup organic butter
  • 4 eggs, organic
  • 1½ cups light corn syrup
  • 1½ cups white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons organic butter, melted
  • 2½ cups Pecan Halves
  • An organic pecan pie you can have while on the run!


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly grease 10 x 15 jellyroll pan.  In a large bowl, stir together flour, ½ cup sugar, and salt.  Cut in 1 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the prepared pan and press firmly. Bake for 20 minutes.

    2. To prepare filling, combine eggs, corn syrup, 1½ cups sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in Pecan Halves.  Spread the filling evenly over the crust. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and slice into bars.
