  • There are so many health benefits of the acai berry. This berry is high in anthocyanin, which is a type of antioxidant that supports lowering cholesterol levels in the blood. Another one of the healthy benefits of the acai berry is their richness in plant sterols that provide protective cardio benefits to our cells. Acai berries are abundantly grown in South America, but if you are in North America your best way to get the health benefits of the acai berry is to purchase frozen acai and use them to make an acai bowl or smoothie.


    1. Place the frozen acai, bananas, and almond milk in a high-powered blender, preferably a Vitamix machine. Blend until fully mixed and has a texture like a very thick smoothie.
