Candied Maple Pecans
Sweet toasted pecans are all all-time favorite treat all year round. Whether you serve them during the holidays or as a summertime snack, you really can’t go wrong. Candied pecans or sweet toasted pecans usually include regular sugar and egg whites, but this recipe is designed for the healthy eater or a vegan.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix nuts in sugar, melted oil, spices, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup.

Remove immediately from the oven. Pour the remaining syrup over the nuts, then sprinkle with a little more coconut sugar to coat.
Cool, serve and enjoy.
