Dairy Free Salty Pecan Ice Cream

Ingredients List:
If you like pecans, a little southern sweetness, and ice cream, you will absolutely fall in love with this recipe for Salty Pecan Cashew Ice Cream.
Directions
Place Eatnuts.com Pecans, Eatnuts.com Cashews, vanilla, maple syrup and ice into a high powered blender, like a Vitamix machine.
Top ingredients with 3 cups ice, place container on top and grab tamper to press ice down into blade when turning machine on and taking it to the highest speed.
Keep pressing ingredients into the blade with the tamper and wait until you hear the machine shift gears. You should see the blender begin to pull everything down through the center, creating almost like 4 pillow cases on top.
Scoop into a bowl and then add toppings like Eatnuts.com Pecan Halves and maple syrup, punch of salt and serve.
If you refreeze your ice cream make sure to remove from the freezer 10-15 minutes prior to eating to allow it to thaw. Since we are not adding preservatives, it freezes rather then stay soft.
The sweet butteriness from the pecans and the creaminess of the cashews really help recreate the ice cream texture and density; however, since this is nut-based ice cream, it is still light and not rich. The added Eatnuts.com Pecans and maple syrup on top give it an extra burst of sweetness and a little crunch. One bite easily becomes two, and the best part is that you know the delicious treat you just ate is good for you.
