Ingredients List:

  • 2 leeks
  • 1 head garlic, whole cloves peeled
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 head broccoli
  • ½ head cauliflower
  • 1 -2 Portobello mushrooms
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 piece of ginger, minced
  • 64 ounces vegetable or chicken stock or broth
  • 3 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1-2 teaspoons black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 3 teaspoons garam masala
  • 4 tablespoons dried coconut, divided
  • 4 tablespoons Raisins
  • This Detox Soup recipe is a healing soup full of nutrient dense vegetables along with the cleansing aspects of garlic, onion, and leeks. The ingredients include herbs that make this the type of healing soup that helps reduce inflammation and provides the body with many other healing properties. We've used ingredients (garlic, onion, and leeks) that have antiviral, anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties.


    1. Slice leeks using mostly the white parts.

    2. Sauté the leeks and garlic cloves in a soup kettle with coconut oil until softened.

    3. Add Vegetable stock or broth along with all remaining ingredients, except for 2 tablespoons dried coconut and Raisins.

    4. Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes, then simmer on low heat until ready to serve.

    5. When reading to serve, top a bowl of soup with a sprinkle of dried coconut and a handful of Raisins.
