Pecan Pie Bars (organic)
An organic pecan pie you can have while on the run!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 10 x 15 jellyroll pan. In a large bowl, stir together flour, ½ cup sugar, and salt. Cut in 1 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the prepared pan and press firmly. Bake for 20 minutes.
To prepare filling, combine eggs, corn syrup, 1½ cups sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in Eatnuts.com Pecan Halves. Spread the filling evenly over the crust. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and slice into bars.
