Spiced Pecan Coffee Cake

Ingredients List:
An ooey-gooey warm spiced pecan coffee cake - the perfect excuse for dessert in the morning!
Directions
Begin by preheating your oven to 350F degrees.
For this recipe, you will need a stand mixer (or handheld), mixing bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, spatula, zester, and a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
Mix all of the ingredients for the topping until crumbly, set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour and baking powder, set aside.
In your stand mixer bowl, separate three eggs and beat the egg whites on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Gently pour into a small bowl, set aside.
Reusing your stand mixer bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Measure out the whole milk and add in the vanilla, then alternately add the milk and dry ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix on low speed until just combined, scraping as necessary.
Gently fold the egg whites into the cake batter and pour into your prepared baking dish. Add the topping in an even layer and gently press into the batter. Bake for 40-45 minutes, and serve warm.
