Sweet and Savory Walnuts
A delicious mix of sweet and savory, loaded with crunch and flavor!
For this recipe, you will need a mixing bowl, a cookie sheet, parchment paper, a spoon or spatula, and measuring spoons.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Begin by pouring two cups of Eatnuts.com Walnuts into your mixing bowl. Rough chop about two tablespoons of fresh rosemary, or one tablespoon of dried, and add to the Eatnuts.com Walnuts. Add in two tablespoons of dark brown sugar, one teaspoon of coarse sea salt, one teaspoon of black pepper, and three tablespoons of light olive oil. Mix thoroughly.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and pour on the walnut mixture in one even layer. Place in your preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the Eatnuts.com Walnuts have finished roasting, remove them from the oven. Pour the warm Eatnuts.com Walnuts into your mixing bowl and add in one cup of Eatnuts.com Dried Cranberries. Toss to evenly distribute.
Once the nuts are cool, you can snack happy! They will keep up to a week in an airtight container, or up to a month in the refrigerator. Makes a wonderful holiday treat!
