Ingredients List:

  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons maple syrup, divided
  • Sweet toasted pecans are all all-time favorite treat all year round. Whether you serve them during the holidays or as a summertime snack, you really can’t go wrong. Candied pecans or sweet toasted pecans usually include regular sugar and egg whites, but this recipe is designed for the healthy eater or a vegan.


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. Mix nuts in sugar, melted oil, spices, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup.

    3. Place sugared Pecans on lined baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes.

    4. Remove immediately from the oven. Pour the remaining syrup over the nuts, then sprinkle with a little more coconut sugar to coat.

    5. Cool, serve and enjoy.

    The best part about these vegan candied pecans is that they are divinely sweet and buttery. There is a light coconut flavor in the background, an amazing toasted crunch, and they taste like candy. What a sweet treat!
